Nadi Shodana
Nadi Shodhana Pranayama, also known as Alternate Nostril Breathing, is a foundational yogic breathing technique designed to purify and balance the body's subtle energy channels (nadis), calm the mind, and harmonize the nervous system. The practice involves gently closing one nostril at a time with the fingers while inhaling and exhaling through the other, alternating sides in a rhythmic pattern.
